Collaboration and sharing practiced by indigenous communities before the arrival of the Spaniards made possible the construction and decoration of temples in this commercial circuit. In this sense, the Andean temples are a symbol of the strong relationship between different peoples, as well as their creativity and religiosity. Under Spanish rule, these communities adapted Western models, incorporating iconography and local ornaments. Finally, this South Andean Baroque style spread its influence to different places throughout the region, creating a valuable cultural universe. Universidad Católica San Pablo2013-01-22info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersiondossierapplication/pdfhttps://revistas.ucsp.edu.pe/index.php/Allpanchis/article/view/22210.36901/allpanchis.v45i81/82.222Allpanchis; Vol. 45 Núm. 81/82 (2013): Religión y sociedad en el espacio andino chileno; 73-118Allpanchis; Vol. 45 No. 81/82 (2013): Religion and society in the Chilean Andean space; 73-1182708-89600252-883510.36901/allpanchis.v45i81/82reponame:Revistas - Universidad Católica San Pabloinstname:Universidad Católica San Pabloinstacron:UCSPspahttps://revistas.ucsp.edu.pe/index.php/Allpanchis/article/view/222/249Derechos de autor 2013 Magdalena Pereira Camposhttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessoai:revistas.ucsp.edu.pe:article/2222024-06-09T13:33:49Z
