Even today -in times of globalization of culture and vertiginous contacts through the channels offered by new information technologies- the intensity of the links established in the early decades of the century by various Latin American intellectuals and cultural and political formations.En los últimos años, la historiografía se ha ocupado de iluminar diversas dimensiones de la trama material que dio origen a ese singular «momento latinoamericano» de la cultura y la política del continente, que tiene lugar en el ciclo que se inicia a comienzos de siglo XX y se acelera a partir de la Reforma Universitaria de 1918.
