De esta manera se evidencia los frutos que ha ofrecido y puede ofrecer en la educación, con el objetivo de presentar sus beneficios a las instituciones encargadas de reflexionar acerca de la educación de los niños y jóvenes del Perú. En este estudio se mostrará cómo la enseñanza de la filosofía desarrolla un uso crítico de la razón, orienta los fundamentos éticos necesarios para educar en valores, ofrece herramientas para enseñar a vivir con sentido y fomenta la buena convivencia y el compromiso con la sociedad. Todos estos elementos son una valiosa herramienta para el Ministerio de Educación del Perú que, a través del Currículo Nacional de Educación Básica, plantea los aprendizajes que deben lograr los niños y jóvenes peruanos.The following paper, from a humanistic perspective, aims to demonstrate that philosophy is a powerful tool in the education of the human person. In this way, it highlights the outcomes that philosophy has offered, and can offer in education, with the objective of presenting its benefits to institutions responsible for reflecting on the education of children and young people in Peru. This study will show how teaching philosophy develops a critical use of reason, guides the ethical foundations necessary for value-based education, provides tools for teaching a meaningful life, and fosters awareness of living appropriately in society.
