Descripción
Sumario:This article analyses the job placement of university graduates, their assessments of the adequacy of the education received in relation to labour market demands, their levels of professional satisfaction, and their perceptions regarding the acquisition of generic competencies. The study was conducted with graduates from the Regional Faculty of Neuquén of the National Technological University (FRN - UTN). Based on data collected through a structured questionnaire, chi-square tests were applied to examine the relationships among the variables under consideration. The results show that the correspondence between university education and the work performed is positively associated with professional satisfaction and with the perceived usefulness of the studies undertaken. In this context, the study highlights the need to strengthen the articulation between curricular designs and the demands of the productive environment, as well as to promote institutional strategies to support the job placement of graduates.
