The hospitalization of a human being leads to the mobilization of all the loved ones, and it is when we get to know the other people, for the hospitalized physician it can at the same time be a stage of self-diagnosis of the doctor-patient relationship. El presente trabajo es un relato de la historia de un paciente médico que contrajo el COVID-19 y que fue atendido en un hospital del seguro social del Perú. Los médicos, como cualquier ser humano, no están libres de enfermedades, pueden caer en el momento menos esperado y terminar en un centro hospitalario como uno de los tantos pacientes.
