Variables included: ICD-X diagnosis, sex, age, priority level, and period of care. Statistical analysis was performed using Microsoft Excel 365 and Stata v.18.0. Results: Between 2021 and 2023, an average of 72.7 visits per day (95% CI:72.5-72.8) were recorded. Of these, 36.8% involved the pediatric population and 63.2% the adult population. There was higher demand for care in November, December, and January, and Mondays consistently showed the highest number of visits (16.8%). According to the ICD-X classification, Diseases of the Respiratory System (22%) and Injury, Poisoning, and Certain Other Consequences of External Causes (20%) were the most frequent diagnoses among recorded visits. Regarding healthcare coverage, 95% of visits were covered by some type of insurance. For patient discharge, 94.5% of patients were discharged to their homes. Furthermore, the following priority-based service rates were observed: 13.8 per 1000 visits for Priority I and 198.4 per 1000 visits for Priority II. Conclusions: The emergency department predominantly serves an adult population presenting with conditions that are resolved on the same day of care. Las variables incluidas fueron: diagnóstico CIE-X; sexo, edad, sexo, prioridad y periodo de atención. Para el análisis estadístico se utilizó Microsoft Excel 365 y Stata v.18.0. Resultados: Entre el 2021 y el 2023 se registraron en promedio 72,7 (IC95%:72,5 – 72,8) visitas diarias; el 36,8% perteneció a la población pediátrica y el 63,2% a la población adulta; existió una mayor demanda de atención en los meses de noviembre, diciembre y enero, se observó que el día con mayor número de visitas fue el lunes (16,8%). Según la clasificación CIE-X, las Enfermedades del sistema respiratorio (22%) y los Traumatismos, envenenamientos y otras consecuencias de causas externas (20%) constituyeron los diagnósticos más frecuentes entre las atenciones registradas. En cuanto a la cobertura asistencial, el 95% de las atenciones contaba con algún tipo de seguro. Respecto al alta, el 94,5% de los pacientes fue dado de alta con destino a su domicilio. Asimismo, se observaron las siguientes tasas de atención por prioridad en nuestros servicios: una tasa de 13,8/1000 atenciones para la prioridad I y de 198,4/1000 atenciones para la prioridad II. Conclusiones: El servicio de emergencia tiene una demanda de atención predominante adulta que presenta una patología que es resuelta el mismo día de la atención. As variáveis incluídas foram: diagnóstico CID-10, sexo, idade, prioridade e período de atendimento. Para a análise estatística, utilizaram-se o Microsoft Excel 365 e o Stata v.18.0. Resultados: Entre 2021 e 2023, registrou-se uma média de 72,7 (IC95%: 72,5 – 72,8) atendimentos diários; 36,8% pertenciam à população pediátrica e 63,2% à população adulta. Observou-se maior demanda nos meses de novembro, dezembro e janeiro, sendo a segunda-feira o dia com maior número de atendimentos (16,8%). De acordo com a classificação CID-10, as Doenças do aparelho respiratório (22%) e os Traumatismos, envenenamentos e algumas outras consequências de causas externas (20%) constituíram os diagnósticos mais frequentes entre os atendimentos registrados. Quanto à cobertura assistencial, 95% dos atendimentos possuíam algum tipo de seguro de saúde. Em relação à alta, 94,5% dos pacientes receberam alta para o domicílio. As taxas de atendimento por prioridade nos serviços foram de 13,8/1000 atendimentos para prioridade I e de 198,4/1000 atendimentos para prioridade II.
