Objective: To describe the clinical and radiographic behavior of the pulp exposed to tricalcium silicate(Biodentine®) used in pulpotomies as a treatment of deciduous molars.Results: The evaluations of 3, 6 and 9 months showed clinical and radiographic success of all the procedures.Conclusions: It was evidenced that Biodentine® can be used or considered an effective and promising medicinein treatment of pulpotomies in deciduous teeth. However, more long-term clinical studies are needed tohave more accurate conclusions.El silicato tricalcico (Biodentine)®, induce el desarrollo de dentina reparativa y logra el mantenimiento de la vitalidad y función del tejido, evitando así tratamientos mas invasivos como pulpectomias o exodoncias.Objetivo: Describir el comportamiento clínico y radiográfico de la pulpa expuesta al silicato tricalcico (Biodentine)® usado en pulpotomias como tratamiento de molares deciduas.Resultados: A las evaluaciones de 3, 6 y 9 meses se evidenció éxito clínico y radiográfico de todos los procedimientos.Conclusiones: Se evidenció que el Biodentine® puede ser usado o considerado un medicamento efectivo y prometedor en tratamiento de pulpotomías en dientes deciduos.
