The use of histerosalpingography and laparoscopy is currently present but none of them show the tube physiomorphology, just its permeability or not. Salpingoscopy is a new element in evaluating tubal epithelium and its ability to act normally. Finally we must emphasize the fact that patients with severe tuboperitoneal factors who failed a surgical attempt or is over 38 years old would not have to waste valuable time and should be directed to a in vitro fertilization program as soon as possible.El factor tuboperitoneal afecta a más de 25 % de la población estéril. Durante los últimos 35 años, su tratamiento fue quirúrgico, tanto laparoscópico como laparotómico, obteniéndose resultados más que aceptables. Los éxitos en tratamientos con cirugía están ligados estrechamente al buen diagnóstico. La vigencia de la histerosalpingografía y de la laparoscopia está aún presente, pero ninguna toma el aspecto fisiomorfológico de la trompa, solo si es permeable o no. La salpingoscopia acerca un nuevo elemento para poder evaluar si el epitelio tubárico podrá tener posibilidades de actuar normalmente o no.
