The main challenge will be to establish an organized social response according to our physical infrastructure and human resources, our finantial factibility to implement the new technologies in the people and very importantly to consider the need of education and health promotion according to local and regional needs; all this to guarantee one of the main health rights, equity of access to all our population.El más importante avance para el control global del cáncer cervical es la emergencia de vacunas profilácticas contra VPH 16 y 18. Se inicia una etapa que cambia el paradigma de prevención y control del cáncer cervical, cuyo impacto en la reducción de la incidencia y mortalidad podrá ser observado por muchos de nosotros en los próximos 20 años.
