It has been considered and discussed the increased incidence of ovarian ovarian carcinoma implants in the intraperitoneal transplantation, concluding that this skill came from the most malignant and increased release of living cells capable of crossing the ostium of periovárico sack. It also showed that tumor cells were particularly favorable for growth in ovarian tissues, mainly in the corpora lutea medium.En una publicación anterior sobre un carcinoma ovárico de rata se mostró su predilección para implantar el ovario cuando era trasplantado intrsperitonealmente. Los experimentos referidos aquí amplían el trabajo y muestran que otros tres tumores, además del carcinoma ovárico, eran capaces de implantarse y crecer en los ovarios. Se ha considerado y discutido la mayor incidencia de implantes ováricos del carcinoma ovárico en los transplantes intraperitoneales, llegando a la conclusión de que esta habilidad provenía de su mayor malignidad y de la mayor liberación de células vivas capaces de atravesar el ostium del saco periovárico.
