Results: Occurred 46 accidental pregnancies in the study period, of which 7 will not be able to obtain information about termination of pregnancy. Of all the patients studied 59% were to term and 41% ended in abortion, 15.4% and 25.6% induced spontaneous. Only one case of abortion endometritis (2.6%) was recorded. Conclusions: accidental pregnancies T380A IUD users, 59% resulted in labor at term and 41% in abortion.Objetivos: Evaluar la evolución de los embarazos accidentales que se producen en las usuarias del dispositivo intrauterino (DIU) T de cobre 380A. Diseño: Estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo. Lugar: Consultorio de Planificación Familiar del Hospital Arzobispo Loayza. Material y Métodos: Revisión de las historias de pacientes que embarazaron accidentalmente, siendo usuarias del DIU en estudio. Resultados: Ocurrieron 46 embarazos accidentales en el período de estudio, de los cuales en 7 no se logró obtener información acerca de la culminación del embarazo. Del total de pacientes en estudio 59% llegó a término y 41% terminó en aborto, 15,4% inducido y 25,6% espontáneo. Solo se registró un caso de endometritis postaborto (2,6%).
