The significance of the Congress is expressed in the figures of 1175 participants, 23 foreign teachers and 215 national teachers who presented and discussed the most innovative and varied topics of expertise.No existe satisfacción más grande que el ver realizado un sueño que se plasma a pesar de los momentos difíciles que nos tocó vivir. El XI CONGRESO BOLIVARIANO DE GINECOLOGÍA Y OBSTETRICIA y la VII JORNADA BOLIVARIANA DE GINECOLOGÍA Y OBSTETRICIA tuvieron lugar el 3 y 7 de octubre de 1993, inaugurando para un certamen de tales proporciones los salones del Museo de la Nación.
