Sumario:Histological epidemiological experience, clinical, colposcopic, cytologic and has a solid foundation to the concept of cervical intraepithelial neoplastic disease. The various forms of dysplasia, carcinoma in situ and microinvasive carcinoma are thus initial understood as invasive evolving forms of the same biological process whose ultimate expression is the invasive carcinoma. With the appointment today of dysplasia qualify all atypical proliferations epidermoideas prior to cervical carcinoma in-situ. Cervical intraepithelial neoplastic disease is characterized by periods evolve regression and reoccurrence. The mild and moderate forms of dysplasia regressed more frequently than in-situ forms of severe dysplasia and carcinoma, rarely do. The origin of cervical neoplastic disease can be level or endocervix ectocervix. Most often it starts in the vicinity of the squamocolumnar area. A minority of epidermoideos infiltrating carcinomas are not part of the cervical neoplasm discussed here and have a different histogenesis.
