An ultrasound equipment that uses the Doppler Effect (brand SONIC-AID) was used. The advantages of this method over others, primarily safety, easy implementation and immediate results, place it as a weapon of choice in the daily practice of Obstetrics.Este trabajo se realizó con la intención de hacer el Diagnóstico de certeza del Embarazo en el Primer Trimestre, ya que en esta etapa, muchas veces debe tomarse posiciones Terapéuticas  dependientes de la vitalidad fetal. Se hizo el estudio en 250 embarazadas, cuya edad gestacional oscilaba entre las 6 y 14 semanas, y con variada patología propia de este trimestre. Se empleó un equipo Ultrasonido que utiliza el Efecto Dopler (marca SONIC-AID).
