Furthermore thyroid tissue, tissue structure were more frequently observed: skin and skin, adipose tissue, cartilage and neural tissue.Se presenta 12 casos de teratomas ováricos asociados a struma. La mayor frecuencia se observó entre la 3ra. y 4ta. década de la vida. Encontramos un ligero predominio de localización en el anexo derecho. El 75% de los teratomas asociados a struma ovárico alcanzaron un diámetro de 9 cm. Los síntomas y signos más frecuentes fueron tumor anexial y, en menor proporción, metrorragias y dolor abdominal.
