Because of the time elapsed, thrombolysis was not attempted. With supportive measures and physiotherapy the patient improved in the following weeks.Mujer de 31 años de edad, quien tomaba fentermina y metformina por obesidad, que presentó una hemiparesia izquierda luego de ingerir alcohol, además de cocaína y marihuana. La tomografía mosró un extenso infarto cerebral en el territorio de la arteria cerebral media derecha y la angiorresonancia reveló la obstrucción total de dicha arteria. Por el tiempo transcurrido no se intentó la trombolisis.
