The author begins the article by developing the concept of employment relationship and the obligations derived from an employment relationship with respect to the professional practice of law. In this sense, the author analyzes the lawyer's ability to face ethical dilemmas in his profession using examples on the acceptance and waiver of sponsorship, problems related to professional secrecy and, finally, the duty to avoid conflicts of interest.El presente trabajo aborda el ejercicio de la ética profesional del abogado en el marco de una relación laboral. Para ello, la autora desarrolla las nociones de poder de dirección y el derecho de resistencia; asimismo, analiza el ejercicio de la profesión de abogado en congruencia con las obligaciones deontológicas. La autora inicia el artículo desarrollando el concepto de relación laboral y las obligaciones derivadas de una relación laboral respecto al ejercicio profesional de la abogacía.
