From a microcriminogenic perspective, it is argued that AI possesses the technical capacity to become directly or indirectly involved in criminal offenses or in conduct that, due to its dangerousness or harmfulness, should be criminalized. From a macrocriminogenic or structural standpoint, it is posited that AI-driven capitalism may increase social conflict or lead to an intensified reliance on the criminal justice system to protect the economic order built around AI.Este artículo analiza el potencial de las tecnologías de inteligencia artificial (IA) para actuar como factores criminógenos, esto es, como causas de fenómenos delictuales. El análisis se hace distinguiendo dos perspectivas en las que dicho rol puede concretarse. En una perspectiva micro-criminógena, se sostiene que las (IA) tienen la capacidad técnica para involucrarse directa o indirectamente en la comisión de delitos o de conductas que, por su peligrosidad o dañosidad, deberían serlo.
