This essay proposes a global and complex look at this phenomenon, cultural and political at the same time, to identify and map out —from a limited corpus of novels— relevant thematic axes and their respective modes of representation.Desde los primeros años del conflicto armado entre el Partido Comunista del Perú Sendero Luminoso (PCP-SL) y el Estado peruano, la literatura irrumpió en la escena cultural y social. Lo hizo con la pretensión de interpretar su coyuntura inmediata y con ello contribuir a la producción de sentidos para comprender esa experiencia histórica, tanto en las representaciones de la violencia como en las construcciones de memoria.
