Based on the Aristotelian distinction (Metaphysics) between close gender and specific difference, it is argued that "expectatoriality" is the condition that crosscuts various practices of expectation (artistic, social, trans-theatrical) founded on a common matrix of theatricality (understood as organization of the gaze of the other). It is also affirmed, from a pluralistic view, that there are "expectations" that imply different characteristics. Finally, we reflect on the pedagogies of expectatory events and their relationship with the knowledge of experience and time.En el presente artículo, desde la Filosofía del Teatro, se propone un conjunto de conceptos para problematizar la complejidad de la acción/acontecimiento de expectación. A partir de la distinción aristotélica (Metafísica) entre género próximo y diferencia específica, se sostiene que la “expectatorialidad” es la condición que transversaliza diversas prácticas de la expectación (artísticas, sociales, transteatrales) fundadas en una matriz común de la teatralidad (entendida como organización de la mirada del otro). Se afirma, además, desde una visión pluralista, que hay “expectaciones” que implican características diferentes. Finalmente, se reflexiona sobre las pedagogías de los acontecimientos expectatoriales y su relación con los saberes de experiencia y de tiempo.Neste artigo, a partir da Filosofia do Teatro, propõe-se um conjunto de conceitos para problematizar a complexidade da ação/acontecimento da expectativa. Com base na distinção aristotélica (metafísica) entre gênero próximo e diferença específica, argumenta-se que a "expectatorialidade" é a condição que atravessa várias práticas de expectativa (artística, social, trans-teatral) fundadas em uma matriz comum de teatralidade (entendida como organização do olhar do outro). Afirma-se também, a partir de uma visão pluralista, que existem "expectativas" que implicam características diferentes.
