Figures from the last year on the sexual division of labor - domestic and paid - in Latin America have been reviewed with the aim of identifying and highlighting the inequality of the sexual division of labor while recognizing that care work is still awarded in its majority to women. This article will show that the universalization of care experiences that are taken up from the ecofeminism of Alicia Puleo and in the Ethics of Care can be of vital importance as a measure of transformation of the relationship between human beings and nature.En la presente investigación se hace una revisión del aporte del ecofeminismo constructivista al análisis de la crisis medioambiental. Este ecofeminismo plantea incluir categorías de género y enfoques del feminismo teórico en el análisis de la situación ambiental actual. Se han revisado cifras del último año sobre la división sexual del trabajo —doméstico y remunerado— en Latinoamérica con el objetivo de identificar y evidenciar la desigualdad de la división sexual del trabajo, al mismo tiempo que reconocer que los trabajos del cuidado aún son adjudicados en su mayoría a las mujeres. En este artículo se muestra que la universalización de las experiencias del cuidado, que se retoman desde el ecofeminismo de Alicia Puleo y en la ética del cuidado, pueden ser de vital importancia como medida de transformación de la relación de los seres humanos con la naturaleza.Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
