The study identifies and discusses the shortcomings and gaps in the legal provisions of the Peruvian Code of Civil Procedure and proposes solutions for future legislation. Structural problems are critically analyzed, particularly the lack of clear normative limits regarding dignity and bodily privacy, the absence of a specific procedure for judicial inspections in collegiate courts, the lack of provisions for the use of new technologies, such as drones, and the inspection of electronic documents. The methodology employs comparative law as a tool to support the need for legislative reform.Este artículo de investigación se centra en el análisis normativo-jurídico de la figura de la inspección judicial en el Perú, abordando críticamente su regulación actual. El estudio se enfoca en identificar y discutir las deficiencias y vacíos de los enunciados legales del Código Procesal Civil peruano, y propone soluciones de lege ferenda. Se examinan críticamente problemas estructurales, particularmente en lo que respecta a la ausencia de límites normativos claros en relación con la dignidad e intimidad corporal, la falta de un procedimiento específico para su actuación en tribunales colegiados, la omisión de previsión para el uso de nuevas tecnologías, como drones, y la inspección de documentos electrónicos.
