After that, the author analyzes the implications and reasons that lead to a cross-border transformation of companies, as well as the legal treatment it receives in the law of the European Union. Finally, this leads the author to develop a vast comparative law analysis between the mentioned regime and the Peruvian one, where the examination of the European jurisprudence regarding this figure abounds.En el presente artículo, el autor desarrolla la compleja figura del traslado internacional del domicilio social. Para ello, nos explica, primero, algunos conceptos preliminares respecto al derecho aplicable a nivel internacional y nacional de la denominada redomiciliación internacional y sus elementos integrales. Después de ello, el autor analiza las implicancias y razones que llevan a impulsar a una transformación transfronteriza de sociedades, así como, también, el tratamiento legal que esta recibe en el derecho de la Unión Europea.
