description The objective of this study was to investigate Learning Assessment as an integral part of the professional knowledge required for educators to assess whether educational objectives have been met at the tertiary level. A comprehensive literature review was conducted, analyzing academic sources within the Web of Science database from 2017 to 2021, resulting in a collection of 56 papers in Spanish. Following the application of rigorous double-blind inclusion and exclusion criteria, content analysis was performed on 17 publications that encompassed a range of approaches. Notably, prevalent among these were the concepts of formative assessment, assessment for learning, and the incorporation of feedback in pedagogical innovations. However, more robust theoretical frameworks based on concep-tual and historical foundations were less frequently encountered. Consequently, this study marks a departure from the conventional perspective on traditional learning assessment, signaling a fresh approach to enhancing assessment literacy among Spanish-speaking educators in the domain of Higher Education.

Se realizó una revisión documental centrada en el análisis de fuentes académicas, en Web of Science, entre 2017-2021, arrojando un total de 56 artículos en español. Tras aplicar criterios de inclusión y exclusión, a doble ciego, se analizó el contenido de 17 publicaciones alusivas a variados enfoques, prevaleciendo las nociones de evaluación formativa, evaluación para el aprendizaje y uso de retroalimentación en innovaciones pedagógicas. En menor escala se observaron marcos teóricos basados en antecedentes históricos y conceptuales. Se plantea la idea de superar una mirada simplificada del tema para reorientar la formación y alfabetización en evaluación de futuros docentes hispanohablantes en educación superior.O objetivo foi investigar a Avaliação da Aprendizagem como parte do conhecimento profissional docente, necessário para avaliar o grau em que os objetivos educacionais foram alcançados no nível terciário. Foi realizada uma revisão documental focada na análise de fontes acadêmicas na Web of Science, entre 2017 e 2021, resultando em um total de 56 artigos em espanhol. Após a aplicação de critérios de inclusão e exclusão duplo-cegos, o conteúdo de 17 publicações que abordavam diversas abordagens foi analisado, com destaque para as noções de avaliação formativa, avaliação para a aprendizagem e uso do feedback em inovações pedagógicas. Em menor escala, foram observados referenciais teóricos baseados em fundamentos históricos e conceituais.
