As a result, it was found that the dimensions of the UPPS-P presented an adequate fit to the Rasch model, adequate levels in the Person Separation Index (PSI), some items with local dependence and an adequate level of unidimensionality. It is concluded that the scale is a valid instrument to assess impulsivity in adolescents; therefore, a conversion table with interval scores is presented to increase the measurement precision of the instrument.

Por este motivo, se analizaron las propiedades psicométricas de la versión extensa de la UPPS-P desde el modelo politómico de Rasch. Participaron del estudio 800 adolescentes argentinos con edades entre los 12 y los 18 años. Como resultado se encontró que las dimensiones de la UPPS-P presentaron un adecuado ajuste al modelo de Rasch, adecuados niveles en el índice de separación de las personas (PSI), algunos ítems con dependencia local y un adecuado nivel de unidimensionalidad. Se concluye que la escala es un instrumento válido para evaluar impulsividad en adolescentes por lo que se presenta una tabla de conversión con puntuaciones intervalares para aumentar la precisión de medida del instrumento.L’échelle UPPS-P est largement utilisée pour évaluer l’impulsivité. Pour cette raison, les propriétés psychométriques de la version étendue de l’UPPS-P ont été analysées sur la base d’un modèle polyatomique de Rasch. Huit cents adolescents argentins âgés de 12 à 18 ans ont participé à l’étude. Comme résultats, nous avons trouvé que les dimensions de l’UPPS-P présentent un ajustement adéquat au modèle de Rasch, des niveaux adéquats dans l’indice de séparation des personnes (PSI), quelques items avec une dépendance locale et un niveau adéquat d’unidimensionnalité. Como resultado verificou-se que as dimensões do UPPS-P apresentavam um ajuste adequado ao modelo Rasch, níveis adequados no Índice de Separação de Pessoas (PSI), alguns itens com dependência local e um nível adequado de unidimensionalidade.
