Descripción
Sumario:This study analyzes the literature on knowledge co-production, focusing on its definitions, principles, conditions, and processes, as well as all aspects that contribute to a better and more efficient knowledge co-production for organizations. It is based on a bibliographic review of 45 articles published in Scopus and Web of Science indexed journals between 2013 and 2024, using a thematic analysis to identify key factors supporting knowledge co-production in the field of environmental management, where this concept is particularly relevant. The results show that knowledge co-production is an emerging concept of great interest to various organizations, as it integrates different types of knowledge—categorized as scientific and indigenous, local or traditional—to improve decision-making, particularly in environmental matters.
