Mainly, the bylaws serve to reduce transaction costs between the parties involved, so that they can reach agreements that allow coexistence in a scenario of own and common property.El relato bíblico de la Torre de Babel, además de enseñarnos la importancia de la comunicación, nos puede enseñar lo trascendental que es el establecimiento de ciertas reglas básicas al compartir un espacio con otras personas. Estas reglas básicas pueden verse plasmadas, contemporáneamente, en los reglamentos de propiedad horizontal.En el artículo, los autores exploran la naturaleza de estos reglamentos, sus contenidos básicos y las funciones que desarrollan.
