The change of the internal regulation may follow the basic standards of International Investment Agreements in order to achieve this goal.Este artículo discute la relación entre acuerdos internacionales de inversión y la atracción a la inversión extranjera por parte de un Estado, pues se ha considerado a los primeros como un requisito de la última. Para aportar a este debate, se propone que con un marco regulatorio interno similar al de las reglas esenciales contenidas en los acuerdos internacionales de inversión un Estado podría prescindir de la ratificación de estos.
