Moreover, operational aspects are raised for the correct application of this procedural institution and statistical data on its use in specialized courts in different parts of the country are evaluated, in order to reevaluate the advantages of pre-trial proceedings as a tool for procedural simplification that leads to an expeditious, effective and timely resolution.En el presente estudio se realiza un análisis del juzgamiento anticipado, dado el nuevo escenario de la programación de audiencias virtuales y la subsecuente carga procesal que se presentará una vez levantado el estado de emergencia. Asimismo, se plantean aspectos operativos para la aplicación correcta de esta institución procesal y se evalúan los datos estadísticos de su utilización en los juzgados especializados de las diferentes cortes del país, a fin de reevaluar las ventajas del juzgamiento anticipado como herramienta de simplificación procesal que conlleva a la obtención de una resolución célere, eficaz y oportuna.
