In this sense, they contribute to the efficiency of the legal system and to the maximization of welfare and social wealth, which is a valuable contribution to social cohesion, to the realization of life projects of people, to the prosperity and to the full development of large sectors of the population of our historically relegated countries. En este trabajo se analizan las Reglas de Brasilia como un eficaz instrumento para disminuir distintos tipos de costos que operan como barreras extrínsecas e intrínsecas ante el acceso a la justicia por parte de individuos en situación de vulnerabilidad. En ese sentido, contribuyen a la eficiencia del sistema jurídico y a la maximización del bienestar y la riqueza social, lo que resulta un valioso aporte a la cohesión social, a la realización de los proyectos de vida de las personas, a la prosperidad y al desarrollo pleno de amplios sectores de la población de nuestros países históricamente relegados.
