For its development, doctrine, legislation, and jurisprudence were analyzed to propose a judicial and legislative reform that establishes the parameters for the integral adequacy of self-perceived gender identity.El presente trabajo de investigación estudia el proceso de cambio de nombre y de sexo de las personas LGTBIQ (sigla formada por las iniciales las palabras lesbiana, gay, transexual, bisexual, intersexual y queer) que históricamente han sido discriminadas y vulneradas en sus derechos humanos de acceso a la justicia y de reconocimiento de la personalidad jurídica con relación a su orientación sexual e identidad de género.
