The largest interest of Brasil, Mercosur and  Bolivia is  to  buil trade ports leading them to the pacific ocean across Peruvian and Chile territories. The IIRSA  Project  involves 12  countries of  South  America.El IIRSA fue  planteado en Brasil el año 2000. El objetivo estratégico es construir  una  infraestructura  regional capaz de lograr una ocupación ordenada del  Territorio  Amazónico y  Trasandino. El IIRSA se  compone  de  diez Ejes de  Integración. El Eje  Interoceánico Central que une los Puertos de Santos (Brasil) e Ilo (Perú) es  el  objeto de  la  presente  Investigación. El  mayor interés de Brasil, el  Mercosur  y  Bolivia  es  construir  puertos  de  salida  a la  Cuenca del Pacífico por territorio del Perú y Chile.
