We found that the scale has an unidimensional structure with good adjustment to the statistical criteria applied according to the confirmatory factor analysis. Moreover, the scale has a high reliability index (α= .945) and item-test correlations over .589.El presente estudio, tiene por objetivo, realizar un análisis psicométrico de la Escala de Satisfacción en el Trabajo de Warr Cook y Wall (1979) en una muestra de trabajadores que radican en la ciudad de Arequipa (Perú). Se evaluó a 454 sujetos con diferentes ocupaciones utilizando la versión adaptada al español de Pérez-Bilbao y Fidalgo (1995). Se encontró que la prueba tiene una estructura unidimensional que se ajusta mejor a los criterios estadísticos empleados mediante el análisis factorial confirmatorio.
