Ensuring a multidisciplinary approach centered on human rights is key to mitigating this problem and protecting the most vulnerable populations.La violencia sexual contra niñas y adolescentes en el Perú representa una crisis de salud pública con profundas repercusiones físicas, psicológicas y sociales. A pesar de las alarmantes cifras, las brechas en el acceso a servicios de salud y justicia perpetúan la vulnerabilidad de las víctimas. Esta editorial busca visibilizar la magnitud del problema, sus determinantes y el impacto en la salud materno-infantil, resaltando la urgencia de fortalecer estrategias de prevención, atención integral y políticas públicas basadas en evidencia.
