Descripción
Sumario:The culture of prevention aims at the global level to make people aware and assume commitments to ensure protection and generate economic savings before emergencies and disasters for educational communities through compliance with preventive measures according to legal regulations legales (Fontana y Conrero, 2023; Aguilar et al., 2020; Ordoñez, 2022). However, not many adequate instruments with psychometric evidence have been considered in state educational institutions in the district of Chorrillos. Thus, a study was conducted to measure the level of preventive culture in 106 teachers from educational institutions near the green coast of Chorrillos. This 17-item questionnaire presented several scientifically rigorous procedures for its validation. In the case of the content validation of the Aiken V, it showed acceptable values for relevance (P=0.91), clarity of language (CL= 0.91) and relevance (R=0.86). For the confirmatory factor analysis, it confirmed construct validity with adequate fit indices: Xs2/gl =1.943, SRMR=.043, RMSEA=.083, CFI=0.927, TLI=0.915). Finally, the reliability was acceptable (0.96), according to the criteria described by Nunnally & Bernstei (1994) which led to the conclusion that the questionnaire is valid and reliable for measuring the culture of prevention.
