In this study it was verified that the Pedagogical Directive Leadership is related to the Pedagogical Competences of the Teacher at the secondary level of the “Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera” school. Lima 2018., since it is through a p whose value less than 0.05 in the statistical analysis, such a relationship is demonstrated with an r = 0.768, which is a correlation of 76.8%. And it relates the personal competencies of the teacher whose r = 0.593 is a correlation of 59.3%. Competencies from institutional management have an r = 0.543 which is 54.3%. Communication management competencies have a significant relationship whose r = 0.638, which is 63.8%. It is important to take these correlations into account in order to reduce this gap between weak pedagogical directive leadership and the competencies that the teacher must develop.La incertidumbre y alto índice de desconfianza que existe entre los docentes y sus autoridades directivas especialmente en lo pedagógico, es uno de los problemas claves en la enseñanza aprendizaje. En este estudio se comprobó que el Liderazgo Directivo Pedagógico se relaciona con las Competencias Pedagógicas del Docente del nivel secundaria del colegio “Mercedes Cabello de Carbonera”. Lima 2018., ya que se mediante un p cuyo valor menor que 0.05 en el análisis estadístico, se demuestra tal relación con un r = 0, 768 lo que es correlación de 76,8%. Y relaciona las competencias personales del profesor cuyo r = 0,593 es correlación de 59,3%. Las competencias desde gestión institucional tienen un r = 0, 543 que es 54,3%. Las competencias de gestión comunicativa tienen una relación significativa cuyo r = 0, 638 lo que es de 63,8%. Es importante tomar en cuenta estas correlaciones a fin de disminuir esta brecha entre un liderazgo directivo pedagógico débil y las competencias que debe desarrollar el docente.
