The Universidad Pedagógica Veracruzana (UPV) offers the Bachelor's Degree in Basic Education, which constitutes the initial teacher training. Over eight semesters, students explore topics in educational research through an integrative approach. Considering that the Educational Reform of 2019 in Mexico establishes that teachers' knowledge and skills should be directed towards creating solutions with their communities, the research aimed to understand the knowledge, skills, and educational research interests declared by students in the eighth semester during the academic year 2022-2023 in the Dlegree program at UPV. The adopted methodological approach is quantitative, with a descriptive scope and a non-experimental cross-sectional design. Out of the 115 students who completed the eighth semester at the Xalapa Regional Center during the academic year 2022-2023, this study focused on 95 of them who completed an electronic questionnaire, along with the documentary review of 115 research papers produced by all students in the same semester. The goal was to identify the knowledge, skills, and research interests declared by the students. From this, it was found that the most significant themes in their work were related to teaching and learning techniques in the field of language and communication. Over 60% of the studied population considered having research skills and knowledge. These results provide valuable information to propose support alternatives to strengthen these educational research skills during initial teacher training, thereby improving the perception of educational issues to be addressed. |

Tomando en cuenta que la Reforma Educativa de 2019 en México establece que los conocimientos y las habilidades de los docentes deben dirigirse hacia la creación de soluciones junto a sus comunidades, el objetivo de la investigación fue conocer los saberes, habilidades e intereses de investigación educativa que dicen tener los alumnos que cursan el octavo semestre, durante el ciclo escolar 2022-2023 de la LEB en la UPV. El enfoque metodológico adoptado es cuantitativo, con un alcance descriptivo y un diseño transversal no experimental. De los 115 estudiantes que cursaron el octavo semestre en el Centro Regional Xalapa durante el ciclo escolar 2022-2023, el presente estudio se enfocó en 95 de ellos que completaron un cuestionario electrónico, así como en la revisión documental de 115 trabajos de investigación realizados por la totalidad de los estudiantes de ese mismo semestre, con lo que se buscó identificar los conocimientos, habilidades e intereses investigativos declarados por los alumnos; a partir de esto, los temas de mayor interés de sus trabajos están relacionados con las técnicas de enseñanza y aprendizaje en el campo de lenguaje y comunicación, es decir, en los hallazgos destacan que más del 60 % de la población estudiada consideraron tener habilidades y conocimientos en investigación. Estos resultados brindan información valiosa para proponer alternativas de apoyo para fortalecer estas habilidades de investigación educativa durante la formación inicial docente, y así mejorar la percepción de problemáticas de la educación a resolver.La Universidad Pedagógica Veracruzana (UPV) oferece o curso de Licenciatura em Educação Básica (LEB), que constitui a formação inicial de professores. Durante o curso de oito semestres, os estudantes exploram temas de pesquisa educacional por meio de uma abordagem integradora. Levando em consideração que a Reforma Educativa de 2019 no México estipula que os conhecimentos e habilidades dos professores devem ser direcionados para a criação de soluções em conjunto com suas comunidades, o objetivo da pesquisa foi conhecer os saberes, habilidades e interesses de pesquisa educacional declarados pelos alunos que estão cursando o oitavo semestre durante o ano letivo 2022-2023 na LEB da UPV. A abordagem metodológica adotada é quantitativa, com um escopo descritivo e um design transversal não experimental. Dos 115 estudantes que cursaram o oitavo semestre no Centro Regional Xalapa durante o ano letivo 2022-2023, o presente estudo focou em 95 deles que completaram um questionário eletrônico, além da revisão documental de 115 trabalhos de pesquisa realizados por todos os estudantes desse mesmo semestre. O objetivo era identificar os conhecimentos, habilidades e interesses de pesquisa declarados pelos alunos. A partir disso, observou-se que os temas de maior interesse em seus trabalhos estão relacionados às técnicas de ensino e aprendizado no campo de linguagem e comunicação.
