Finally, the article proposes that for Cervantes folly is a condition of possibility of justice in the world.Existe una tensión entre la cordura y la locura en el hecho mismo de la justicia, tensión que don Quijote encarna. En sus momentos de locura, el Quijote es un justiciero; en los de cordura, un jurista. Estos dos Quijotes aparecen y reaparecen a lo largo de la novela, pero cobran especial significado ante el testimonio de damas ultrajadas, como también al final, cuando el caballero recupera la cordura y resuelve sus problemas patrimoniales previo a testar.
