In this article we took two clinical cases that they appeared in the Department of the Digestive Apparatus and with them we try to facilitate its use and indications. In the end we presented algorithms of diagnosis for the handling of this type of patients.La patología biliopancreática es una de las causas más frecuentes de consulta en la especialidad de gastroenterología. En los tiempos actuales esta área del cuerpo humano es explorada por diversas imágenes (US, TAC, RM). El uso de ellas sin una adecuada orientación puede resultar de alto costo y retardo diagnóstico. En este artículo tomamos dos casos clínicos que se presentaron en el Departamento del Aparato Digestivo y con ellos pretendemos facilitar su uso e indicaciones.
