Likewise, Rose's poems are compared with those of Antonio Cisneros and Rodolfo Hinostroza.En el presente artículo se sostiene que el poemario Las comarcas (1964) de Juan Gonzalo Rose evidencia el viaje de un sujeto en busca de una racionalidad no occidental, ligada a los nativos de las zonas tropicales. Además, mediante un análisis interdiscursivo, se destacan algunos temas importantes de los textos elegidos, como la ironía y la representación de conocimientos antiguos.
