The litanies from his speech establish a permanent criticism through texts that reflect a new way of communicating, multimodal from Kress & Leeuwen. For the development of the study, a qualitative deductive and analytic-deductive research was done, because it was based on the description of each one of the three litanies analyzed.La investigación sobre lo pagano como acto performativo e intersubjetivo en las letanías del carnaval de Barranquilla, Colombia, tuvo como propósito identificar cómo lo pagano se convierte en una isotopía que permea los textos de los discursos de los letanieros del carnaval. Las letanías desde su discurso establecen una crítica permanente a través de textos que reflejan una nueva forma de comunicar, lo intersubjetivo, lo multimodal desde Kress & Leeuwen (2008).
