A partir de su desglose y entendimiento, se desentrañan las descripciones y funcionalidades de los distintos elementos arquitectónicos que los componen, especialmente los referidos al binomio plaza-plataforma, esencial para entender la practicidad más espiritual y la más empírica de estas construcciones. También se analizan los recintos, patios y elementos de articulación, como son las rampas y los corredores. Así mismo, mediante un estudio iconográfico, tanto mural como en cerámica, pueden determinarse relaciones simbólicas entre el sacrificio humano, los centros ceremoniales y las montañas. Para descubrir y apreciar este vínculo de significados, se estudian no sólo ejemplos cerámicos en bulto redondo, iconografía y murales, sino también el sentido del combate ritual entre los Moche, los requerimientos agrícolas y las necesidades de legitimación del poder... |

From the breakdown and understanding unravel, descriptions and functionality of the various architectural elements that compose them, especially those related of the binomial square-platform, essential for understanding the more spiritual and the more empirical practicality of these constructions. Also enclosures, courtyards and joint elements, as are the races and passageways, are analyzed. Likewise, through an iconographic study, both ceramic as mural can be determined symbolic relationships between human sacrifice, the ceremonial centers and mountains.
