El mediometraje nace a partir de los cambios suscitados por la pandemia y la alteración en las relaciones interpersonales en el mundo entero que ella conlleva. Así, plantea como objetivo principal contar el estado actual sobre la relación entre ambos personajes a través de retratos espontáneos de sus nuevas normalidades como los recuerdos de su pasado juntos. Para ello, se utiliza el recurso de las videocartas, debido a la adaptación de este medio al aspecto espontáneo del proyecto. De esta manera, se busca brindar mayor prioridad al sentimiento de cada videocarta que la calidad del registro de cada una.
