Esta investigación es bibliográfica del tipo estado del arte. Buscamos responder a nuestra pregunta de investigación: ¿cuáles son las principales características de las investigaciones en el área de la Geometría de la Maestría en Enseñanza de las Matemáticas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú? Para poder responderla, realizamos una recolección de todas las tesis producidas por la Maestría en Enseñanza de las Matemáticas y realizamos un fichaje, una categorización y una reseña crítica de cada una de las once tesis encontradas en el área de la geometría. Este fichaje no solo abarcó los resúmenes de las investigaciones desarrolladas, sino también fue necesario revisar el contenido íntegro de las referidas investigaciones. El análisis nos permitió concluir que las investigaciones desarrolladas son del tipo cualitativo, pues identificaron la naturaleza profunda de las situaciones investigadas y buscando así alcanzar los objetivos planteados. En cuanto a la aplicación de las investigaciones tomadas para nuestra investigación, todas se desarrollaron en un ambiente profesor-alumno, donde el profesor fue el investigador. Los temas analizados en el área de geometría son variados. Pudimos observar que hay convergencia en el tipo de marco teórico, así como la metodología usada. Además, el uso de tecnología (software de geometría dinámica) es común en investigaciones de este tipo, y las investigaciones son desarrolladas en el nivel secundario de colegios nacionales o particulares. Concluimos que las investigaciones desarrolladas en el área de la geometría en la Maestría en Enseñanza de las Matemáticas de la Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú son una tendencia debido a la cantidad de investigaciones desarrolladas y que el uso de algún software de geometría dinámica es un mediador idóneo para estas investigaciones.

This research is bibliographical state type of art. We seek to answer our research question: what are the main features of research in the area of the geometry of the Master in Teaching Mathematics of the Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru? In order to answer it, we make a collection of all theses produced in the Masters in Teaching Mathematics and conducted a record card, a categorization and a critique of each of the eleven theses found in the area of the geometry. This record card not only included summaries of research developed, but was also necessary to review the entire contents of those inquiries. The analysis allows us to conclude that the developed research is the qualitative, therefore identified the profound nature of the investigated situations and thus seeking to reach the objectives. Regarding the application of research taken to our research, all they developed in a teacher-student environment where the teacher was the investigator. The topics discussed in the geometry area are varied. We observed that there is convergence in the type of theoretical framework and the methodology used. In addition, the use of technology (dynamic geometry software) is common in investigations of this type, and investigations are developed at the secondary level of national schools or individuals.
