Actualmente el instituto ha pasado por diversos retos como es la oferta creciente de educación en la ciudad, y los cambios coyunturales como es la pandemia desde el 2020 en adelante. El presente trabajo busca analizar el conjunto de aspectos tanto internos como externos, a manera de identificar las condiciones en las cuales opera la empresa. Luego de ello se hizo un análisis de la problemática, para proponer soluciones, seleccionar la más adecuada a la consecución de objetivos de la organización. El trabajo concluye en que el reporte de sostenibilidad GRI permite generar una oportunidad para ser utilizada en las estrategias de la empresa. Para ello, se debe aplicar los diferentes estándares propuestos donde se detallan actividades y recomendaciones para el Instituto Superior Iberoamericano; como factores determinantes se desarrolla la identificación de los interesados, la responsabilidad del cargo de responsable de sostenibilidad, la propuesta de mejoras en base al estándar y un plan de implementación detallado por actividades. Se espera que el presente trabajo incentive el estudio de las organizaciones educativas y como este instrumento, puede ayudar al Instituto Superior Iberoamericano a desarrollarse hasta lograr ser una organización de alto nivel.

Currently the institute has gone through various challenges such as the growing supply of education in the city, and the conjunctural changes such as the pandemic from 2020 onwards. The present work seeks to analyze the set of both internal and external aspects, in order to identify the conditions in which the company operates. After that, an analysis of the problems was made in order to propose solutions, selecting the most appropriate to achieve the objectives of the organization. The work concludes that the GRI sustainability report allows generating an opportunity to be used in the company's strategies. To this end, the different standards proposed should be applied, detailing activities and recommendations for the instituto superior Iberoamericano, as determining factors, the identification of stakeholders, the responsibility of the position of Sustainability Officer, the proposal of improvements based on the standard and a detailed implementation plan by activities are developed.
