This is a real-life case and can be applied to any Latin American country, it highlights the importance of quality control systems and international standardization to reduce costs. In addition, even though it is not its main objective, it shows the demands of developed countries that are show in the form of technical barriers.Este caso está dirigido a operadores de comercio internacional, jefes de producción y estudiantes de Administración y Marketing; su propósito es ayudarlos a poner en práctica sus conocimientos sobre empaque, control de calidad y comercialización internacional de productos tropicales, permitiéndoles aprender los elementos básicos de la normalización internacional. Este es un caso de la vida real y aplicable a cualquier país latinoamericano, resalta la importancia de los sistemas de control de calidad y la estandarización internacional para reducir costos.
