description La presente investigación surgió por el interés de reflexionar sobre el rol de los abuelos en la crianza de los niños en el ayllu. Como futuros docentes bilingües vemos en las comunidades alto andinas y urbanas, que los saberes y valores de los abuelos no forman parte del aprendizaje de los niños en las escuelas EIB. Por eso, este trabajo es una revisión de las formas en las que se comprende el desarrollo humano en la cultura andina. La investigación revisa el informe en cuanto a la EIB y los saberes ancestrales, ciclo de vida de las personas en los andes, rol de los abuelos en la educación de los niños, e indaga sobre el valor que tienen los abuelos en la crianza de los niñas y niños como transmisores de conocimientos tradicionales para fortalecedores de la identidad cultural. Consideramos que este trabajo puede ayudar a otros docentes y estudiantes a acercarse más a la cultura andina porque como vemos, los saberes de nuestros abuelos son transmitidos oralmente y si no nos lo transmiten, sus conocimientos se van junto con ellos.

As future bilingual teachers, we see in the high Andean and urban communities that the knowledge and values of grandparents are not part of the learning of children in EiB schools. That is why this work is a review of the ways in which human development is understood in the Andean culture. The research reviews the information about the EIB, ancestral knowledge, the life cycle of people in the Andes, the role of grandparents in raising children, and inquires about the importance of the role of grandparents in raising girls and children as transmitters of traditional knowledge and strengtheners of cultural identity. We believe that this work can help other teachers and students to get closer to the Andean culture because as we see, the knowledge of our grandparents is transmitted orally and if they do not transmit it to us, their knowledge goes along with them.
