Every country has a challenge that is choice the most suitable energetic source in order to the common welfare, it is the reason for use decision making supported by structured methods that can be Analytical Hierarchic Process, Grey Clustering with Entropy Weight (both used in this research) or another. The result shows the differences and similarities due each methodology and for the same case analyzed also the Peruvian energetic sources were qualified. According both methodologies, the most important sources are: hydraulic, natural gas and fuel (saving order). The important sources are: or solar, geothermic, biomass, eolic or geothermic, solar, biomass, eolic (respectively for each method). The less important are: or liquid hydrocarbons, carbon, bio-fuels, sea-wave, tidal, uranium or liquid hydrocarbons, carbon, bio-fuels, uranium, tidal, sea-wave (respectively for each method). Finally this research could be used for improve the decision making in energetic policy topics trough the new method Grey Clustering with Entropy Weight.Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica - ConcytecengInstitute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.Proceedings of the 2018 IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exhibition - Latin America, T and D-LA 2018info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccessWeighted methodCarbon-1Fuels-1Hydrocarbons-1Uranium-1Water waves-1Analytical Hierarchy Process-1Decision making methodology-1Energy planning-1Grey clustering-1Liquid hydrocarbons-1Multi-criteria assessment-1Shannon entropy-1Decision making-1https://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#1.04.000-1Comparison of Methodologies: Analytical Hierarchy Process and Grey Clustering with Entropy Weight for the Multicriteria Assessment of the Energy Sources of Perúinfo:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObjectreponame:CONCYTEC-Institucionalinstname:Consejo Nacional de Ciencia Tecnología e Innovacióninstacron:CONCYTEC#PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE##PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE##PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE##PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE#20.500.12390/543oai:repositorio.concytec.gob.pe:20.500.12390/5432024-05-30 15:44:14.128http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cbinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessmetadata only accesshttps://repositorio.concytec.gob.peRepositorio Institucional CONCYTECrepositorio@concytec.gob.pe#PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE#<Publication xmlns="https://www.openaire.eu/cerif-profile/1.1/" id="95cbf872-63ac-4814-bd24-dfa7a532c8f1"> <Type xmlns="https://www.openaire.eu/cerif-profile/vocab/COAR_Publication_Types">http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_1843</Type> <Language>eng</Language> <Title>Comparison of Methodologies: Analytical Hierarchy Process and Grey Clustering with Entropy Weight for the Multicriteria Assessment of the Energy Sources of Perú</Title> <PublishedIn> <Publication> <Title>Proceedings of the 2018 IEEE PES Transmission and Distribution Conference and Exhibition - Latin America, T and D-LA 2018</Title> </Publication> </PublishedIn> <PublicationDate>2018</PublicationDate> <DOI>https://doi.org/10.1109/TDC-LA.2018.8511700</DOI> <SCP-Number>2-s2.0-85057036717</SCP-Number> <ISBN>urn:isbn:9781538658444</ISBN> <Authors> <Author> <DisplayName>Sacasqui M.</DisplayName> <Person id="rp00912" /> <Affiliation> <OrgUnit> </OrgUnit> </Affiliation> </Author> </Authors> <Editors> </Editors> <Publishers> <Publisher> <DisplayName>Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.</DisplayName> <OrgUnit /> </Publisher> </Publishers> <Keyword>Weighted method</Keyword> <Keyword>Carbon</Keyword> <Keyword>Fuels</Keyword> <Keyword>Hydrocarbons</Keyword> <Keyword>Uranium</Keyword> <Keyword>Water waves</Keyword> <Keyword>Analytical Hierarchy Process</Keyword> <Keyword>Decision making methodology</Keyword> <Keyword>Energy planning</Keyword> <Keyword>Grey clustering</Keyword> <Keyword>Liquid hydrocarbons</Keyword> <Keyword>Multi-criteria assessment</Keyword> <Keyword>Shannon entropy</Keyword> <Keyword>Decision making</Keyword>
This article introduces a comparison among decision making methodologies applied to energetic policies.
