Antonio Pereyra) and Convenio 168-2015 UNI-MINEDU-CONCYTEC (doctorate scholarship for W.C. at Universidad Nacional de Ingenier´ıa). We thank Instituto Geof´ısico del Per´u for lodging at Observatorio de Huancayo during photometric observations at OAUNI and Grupo Astronom´ıa members for their help on these observations. Spectroscopic part of this work was based on observations made with ESO Telescopes at the La Silla Paranal Observatory under program ID 074.D-0657(A). This research has made use of the Spanish Virtual Observatory (http://svo.cab.inta-csic.es) supported from the Spanish MINECO/FEDER through grant AyA2014-55216. We also thank to the editors, Ener Salinas, Harold Blas and Rosendo Ochoa, for their useful suggestions and corrections.

We also thank to the editors, Ener Salinas, Harold Blas and Rosendo Ochoa, for their useful suggestions and corrections.Differential photometry was applied on V893 Sco star, observed from the Astronomical Observatory of the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería in Peru. From its light curve it was measured an orbital period of 0.076 days approximately. Moreover, spectroscopic analysis was performed on the HS 0220 + 0603 star, which data was acquired from a database. A fitting program was written in Python to find, out of several synthetic spectra of white dwarf and templates of red dwarf, the combination of a white dwarf and a red dwarf spectrum that fits best the HS 0220 + 0603 spectrum, thus we found that this spectrum is a composition of a white dwarf spectrum of 30000 K and surface gravity (log g) = 8.0, and a M5.5 type red dwarf star.Consejo Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación Tecnológica - ConcytecengElsevier Ltdinfo:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttps://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/UNIphotometry-1spectroscopy-1Perú-1https://purl.org/pe-repo/ocde/ford#1.03.00-1Cataclysmic variable stars: photometry of V893 Sco star and spectroscopy of HS 0220+0603 starinfo:eu-repo/semantics/conferenceObjectreponame:CONCYTEC-Institucionalinstname:Consejo Nacional de Ciencia Tecnología e Innovacióninstacron:CONCYTEC#PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE##PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE#20.500.12390/958oai:repositorio.concytec.gob.pe:20.500.12390/9582024-05-30 15:23:20.061https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/info:eu-repo/semantics/openAccesshttp://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cbinfo:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessmetadata only accesshttps://repositorio.concytec.gob.peRepositorio Institucional CONCYTECrepositorio@concytec.gob.pe#PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE##PLACEHOLDER_PARENT_METADATA_VALUE#<Publication xmlns="https://www.openaire.eu/cerif-profile/1.1/" id="b9a4bdc3-64d5-47ca-8182-db9e3558b70e"> <Type xmlns="https://www.openaire.eu/cerif-profile/vocab/COAR_Publication_Types">http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_1843</Type> <Language>eng</Language> <Title>Cataclysmic variable stars: photometry of V893 Sco star and spectroscopy of HS 0220+0603 star</Title> <PublishedIn> <Publication> </Publication> </PublishedIn> <PublicationDate>2018</PublicationDate> <DOI>https://doi.org/10.1088/1742-6596/1143/1/012010</DOI> <ISI-Number>458174200006</ISI-Number> <Authors> <Author> <DisplayName>Cori, W</DisplayName> <Person id="rp00951" /> <Affiliation> <OrgUnit> </OrgUnit> </Affiliation> </Author> <Author> <DisplayName>Tello, J</DisplayName> <Person id="rp00950" /> <Affiliation> <OrgUnit> </OrgUnit> </Affiliation> </Author> </Authors> <Editors> </Editors> <Publishers> <Publisher> <DisplayName>Elsevier Ltd</DisplayName> <OrgUnit /> </Publisher> </Publishers> <License>https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/</License> <Keyword>UNI</Keyword> <Keyword>photometry</Keyword> <Keyword>spectroscopy</Keyword> <Keyword>Perú</Keyword>
Differential photometry was applied on V893 Sco star, observed from the Astronomical Observatory of the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería in Peru.
