Sumario:A problem that afflicts the crimes committed by officials or public servants is exposed, such as the duplication of its statute of limitations. For this, the method of bibliographical as well as jurisprudential analysis has been used, concluding that, despite the fact that the aforementioned term has constitutional support, it would not be fulfilling the purposes of the criminal process but, on the contrary, that the work of the prosecutor You would be adopting a sort of wild card by trusting that the deadlines are long to carry out your investigation, losing the opportunity to promptly gather the elements of conviction that ensure you prove your theory of the case in court, which means that the defense of those investigated and their Sponsors themselves do not have to worry about a timely decision by the prosecutor, but in the long run even that long term will expire and inevitably have to request the dismissal of the case.
